Samuel van der Veer (he/him) is an interdisciplinary dance artist from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He is a dancer with NDT 2 and a self-taught music producer. ‘I believe in the power of eclecticism: multidisciplinary living and creation. Drawing information and inspiration from a wide variety of sources often informs me as well as my (creative) decision making.’ From this belief, he co-founded the cross-disciplinary art collective ‘Octagon Blues’ in 2019. A collective that is deeply rooted in collaboration and versatility. Since partaking in NDT's annual charity event as a creator, he has made his first steps towards expressing his choreographic voice. In addition to developing his own multifaceted artistry, Samuel has a special interest in documenting his work. From the artist's point of view, documenting a creation/research can help to keep track of a creative process in order to come back to any given point in time. As an audience (and as student), documentation is a learning tool, to help better better understand what's invested into a creative process and how an idea transforms over and over again, ultimately resulting in the piece we watch on stage. He hopes to one day help integrate documentation into the company culture at NDT.

zaadmodel (he/him) is a music producer based in the Netherlands. As a solo artist he is an in-the-box producer, predominantly oriented towards creating music for contemporary dance. In 2021 zaadmodel was commissioned for three new compositions for 'Switch', an annual charity performance, completely organized by the dancers of NDT. Currently zaadmodel is composing music for the dance collective TBH.bae, to accompany their new creation for the 'Origen Dance Festival' in Switzerland.
